- 2DMax™ technology has set the industry standard for reading the most challenging DPM Data Matrix codes no matter the marking type, surface or code degradation.
- UltraLight® integrated illumination provides different types of lighting techniques used for reading DPM codes.1DMax™ technology is optimized for omnidirectional 1-D linear barcode reading and can handle extreme printing and positional variation.
- Liquid lens variable focus technology enables a single reader to decode DPM marks close up, or barcodes from a distance.
Wi-Fi Communications

Application Development
Setup Tool LITE makes DPM setup easier by providing direct access to reader functions such as image display, UltraLight parameters and focus settings. The DataMan 9500 also has Microsoft® Internet Explorer® and onboard keyboard emulation for running a web browser and HTML form-based applications. The DataMan 9500 has the Microsoft Windows® CE 6.0 Operating System for running custom applications on the QVGA interface.
